What is PETS?

P.E.T.S. stands for Puppy Environmental Training Socials

P.E.T.S. is a safe place where your puppy can build its confidence in approaching new and unfamiliar situations. Your puppy will be exposed to many new and different sights, sounds, and surfaces. With guidance from a professional trainer, you and your puppy will learn to interact with and explore this changing environment.

A Social for Every Dog

P.E.T.S. is unique in offering several different socials that are tailored to your puppy's confidence, energy level, and size! Our trainers are ready to help guide you and your puppy through this new and fun adventure.

IMPORTANT!
All first-time puppies must attend either Level 1 or Level 2. No exceptions.

Why Should I Bring my Puppy to Socials?

Socialization

Puppy socialization—learning to play and interact safely—and exposure to many different people, sights, and sounds is vital in the first 19 weeks of your puppy’s development. Your puppy will continue to develop his or her play skills, social skills, and bite inhibition over time.

Socialization

Training

Professional trainers are on hand to teach your puppy how to safely interact, and more importantly, teach YOU the skills to work with your puppy at home and outside of PETS Socials. Our trainers will explain the canine behaviors and communications you are seeing.

Bonding

By learning how to work with your puppy and helping them learn proper play and behavior with other puppies and humans during puppy socials, you enhance the bond between you and your new puppy!

What Pet Parents Say

"I love PETS! Great socialization and introductions to scary things. Around the holidays Sarah will bring in blow up decorations and anything that could be scary for your pup and help them get used to the object so when they experience it outside of PETS they know how to handle themselves."

Sarah P.

"PETS is amazing and Pam and Sarah are the most informed, caring, and fun trainers I’ve ever worked with. When I started bringing Truman (30lb Bernedoodle) to socials, he was very wary of other people and dogs. Nobody could grab his collar or touch his head and new dogs always got barked at. Pam and Sarah were so patient, especially with me, and over time Truman transformed. Now when we go to social hour he can’t get enough love from all the people and loves getting his head and ears rubbed. He even likes other dogs!!

On top of it all, Pam and Sarah are always available for questions and offering helpful advice when needed. This is so much more than dog training, it's training you to create a world where you can really enjoy your pup in the lifestyle that fits you best. It’s the best dog training I have ever experienced. Simply amazing."

"PETS Socials is awesome! We've been taking our puppy Noodle for over a year now. We try to make every scheduled social we can! Noodle always has tons of fun and comes home tuckered out. As puppy parents, we've learned so much about proper dog behavior and social interaction and how to keep our puppy and other puppies safe while playing together!

The trainers and assistants are all so attentive and take the time to explain what's going on, what to watch out for, and how to handle each situation.

It's so well-run and a pleasure for Noodle and us!"
